Paradise
Paradise is a short poetic documentary about trans/non-binary artist and gardener Mol Benge. Through their horticultural work and artistic practice, Mol has cultivated an intimate, lyrical relationship with the natural world — one that becomes both a salve and a compass in their exploration of gender identity. Shot on 16mm and interwoven with Mol’s original hand-painted animation, the film is a kaleidoscopic celebration of the deep interconnections between ecology, queerness, and creativity. Paradise weaves the personal with the environmental, offering a tender portrait of growth, resilience, and rebirth.
